The International Day of Peace, established by the United Nations in 1981,
is celebrated around the world on September 21st.  For the seventh
consecutive year, a coalition of local churches and peace and justice
groups will be marking the event with a celebration – at a new site, the
Cambridge Common – this year on September 18 (the Sunday closest to
September 21).  We are hoping your congregation or organization will join

Two art exhibits titled "The Insanity of Violence" will open to the public
at the de Menil and Christopher Brodigan Galleries at the Groton School
in Groton, Mass. These drawings and sculptural installations by Gordon D.
