Middle East to the war on poor people, people of color, & young people
here in the U.S.
2PM:
Student Labor Action Project (Boston SLAP) is having its first citywide
meeting of the semester, with student activists from many schools coming
together to discuss the issues and plan actions/events in solidarity with
working people.
To be discussed: Local organizing by campus workers (Justice for Janitors,
Stand for Security), the Justice at Smithfield campaign, the farmworker
campaign against McDonald's, the Boston Workers Alliance, and other
projects.
