The G8 summit is the annual meeting of the eight richest countries in
the world. Every summer, they meet behind closed doors, with no
published agenda and no publicly available meeting minutes to discuss
policies that affect us all.

Activists and NGOs from around the world have been working for the last
two years to plan/organize massive protests and educational activities
to accompany these meetings. On behalf of these groups, DISSENT! is
doing a world-wide informational tour to let people know what is
happening and to educate them about their critique of the G8 and what
they hope to accomplish. They have already given over 300 presentations
in 25 countries and on Friday, they will be here in Boston.

Please bring your questions and join us for a provocative and
informative evening.
