WMass Social Forum Workshop 25 (Sat. 3:15-4:45pm.)
Title:  Responding to The War Against Nature

Facilitators: Jean Grossholtz,The Enviro Show, WXOJ-LP; Tina Clarke,
Clean Water Action;  D.O., The Enviro Show, WXOJ-LP
Location: School of Management (adjacent to Haigis Mall), UMass, Rm.124

Workshop description: Exploration of the successful responses to the war
against nature. Brainstorming actions for the future. From
grassroots inspired municipal programs, media work, theater, to direct
action, we'll look at the past as well as to the future for models that 
work.
The focus will be mostly on the climate crisis.

Tracks: Environment/Sustainability: Direct action and community-based action
in defense of the planet.

Description of Organization: The Enviro Show is a bi-weekly show on
Valley Free Radio, WXOJ-LP, 103.3fm covering news, views and interviews on
radical ecology and the environment. Clean Water Action is a national
non-profit working for clean, affordible water, prevention of
health-threatening pollution and empowerment of people to make eemocracy
work.
