  The Militant Labor Forum presents:

School Desegregation: The Class Struggle Road to
Defending This Historic Gain

The Supreme Court handed down a 5-4 ruling June 28
striking a blow at school desegregation. The court
threw out provisions in public school desegregation
plans in Louisville, Kentucky, and Seattle that
consider race in assigning students to schools.
In both cities, some white parents had sued to have
the desegregation plans overturned.
Here in the Boston area opponents of school
desegregation have drawn new found courage from the
Supreme Court decision and are vowing to fight to
reverse aspects of desegregation plans in Lynn and
Cambridge.
Come discuss what working people gained from school
desegregation and how a fight to defend that gain can
be waged.

Speaker: Bill Estrada, Socialist Workers Party
Candidate for Boston City Council at large
