Us to Death" and "Made Love, Got War: Close Encounters with America's
Warfare State" will screen the film documentary based on his book "WAR MADE
EASY." He will also read from his new book "Made Love, Got War" and answer
audience questions about war and peace and 40 years as a progressive
activist.

7:00 pm.
"War Made Easy" produced and directed by Loretta Alper and Jeremy Earp of
the Media Education Foundation, narrated by Sean Penn and featuring Norman
Solomon. www.warmadeeasythemovie.org

"War Made Easy reaches into the Orwellian memory hole to expose a 50-year
pattern of government deception and media spin that has dragged the United
States into one war after another from Vietnam to Iraq. Narrated by actor
and activist Sean Penn, the film exhumes remarkable archival footage of
official distortion and exaggeration from LBJ to George W. Bush, revealing
in stunning detail how the American news media have uncritically
disseminated the pro-war messages of successive presidential
administrations."

Katrina vanden Heuvel, editor of The Nation calls it ".a chilling and
persuasive movie."

8:15 pm.
Norman Solomon reads from "Made Love, Got War: Close Encounters with
America's Warfare State" and reflects on 40 years of social, political and
media reform. Followed by audience Q and A.
