  The 1960s and the Fight for Black Liberation
   
  The era of the civil rights movement of the 1960s saw the birth of a struggle for Black freedom that reached a scale not seen before or since.  Millions of Blacks stood up against Jim Crow racism and began to question the very structure of American society.
   
  Where did the civil rights movement come from?  Where did it go?  The answers to these questions are important in helping us to figure out what we can do today to build the fight against the racism that continues to plague our society.  From the miscarriage of justice in the case of the Jena 6, to the re-segregation of schools, to police brutality, we still have a world to win.  Join our discussion!
