Come celebrate Palestine art and culture!
Learn the realities of life in Palestine!

Announcing, the first Massachusetts*
Palestine Awareness Festival*
Sunday, October 21st, 2007   1:30 - 7 pm

In Cambridge, outdoors at Edward Sennott Park
on Broadway, near the corner of Prospect St
Just 3 blocks from the Central Sq, Cambridge, redline T-stop

We will have dabke dancers, poetry reading and a film screening: 
/*Frontiers of Dreams and Fears */(the film screens at 6pm)

For kids, there will be face/finger painting and craft decoration (on 
items we'll send to children in refugee camps).
For adults, there will be lots of literature tables, exhibits, and 
plenty of items to purchase:  books, olive oil, jewelry, Palestinian 
flags, pins, crafts, kufiyahs, embroidery, etc etc.

And LOTS MORE!  There will be free raffle prizes drawn every hour on the 
hour. (You need to be at the park to win.)
A truck will be parked nearby selling Palestinian food.

Please note that the city will not allow parking on the perimeter of the 
Park (along Broadway and Norfolk St) for this event. You can park across 
the street on Broadway and other locations nearby. Public transportation 
is very easy; there are lots of buses into Central Sq; the reline stops 
at Central Sq as well; from there Sennett Park is only a 5-min walk, 3 
blocks up Prospect to Broadway.

worry -
