THE COMMUNITY CHURCH OF BOSTON
SUNDAY SPEAKERS FORUM presents...

Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 11:00am

JASON LYDON
"A Feminist Christmas Story"

Year after year, for quite some time now, Christians have celebrated the
birth of Jesus on December 25th. The story of Jesus is one known to people
around the world. Whether one actually believes in the Christian story it is
one that gets incredible attention. Unfortunately so much of Christianity is
dominated by patriarchy and the voices and experiences of women are
regularly left out. This Sunday we will honor a feminist version of the
Christmas story.

Jason Lydon is the Congregational Director. He is also currently studying at
Andover Newton Theological School. Rather than completely abandon holidays
Jason chooses instead to reclaim and reread the stories behind the given
holiday.
