Vermont Man Arrives in DC Tomorrow After 485-Mile March for Impeachment!
  by Tom Page  Tomorrow, Jan. 12, 2008, after 40+ days and nights of trudging through the snow and ice, Vermont educator and activist, John Nirenberg, will complete his 485-mile march for impeachment of Bush and Cheney.  He began his heroic one-man march on Washington from Fanueil Hall in Boston on Dec. 1, 2007. His solitary protest march has been covered by the Boston Globe, Village Voice, Talk Nation Radio, and picked up by the Associated Press everywhere.  On his blog, MarchInMyName.org, John Nirenberg reports today:
   
    "On Saturday, January 12th, we'll be starting out at 9:00 at the National Arboretum and head to Union Station and then to the 12:30 rally at the National Archives where the Constitution is housed. Hope to see you there. This is it. Be there or be square."
   
  John's courageous personal protest was to undertaken with one purpose in mind. He wanted to send a message to Congress - and particularly to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) - to get them "to put impeachment back on the table". start immediate investigations of the many crimes and abuses of power by the Bush administration.
