Migration: Roots and Realities
Participate in a round table panel discussion panel including speakers
from Equal Exchange, ADP Worker Center/Casa Obrera, Western MA Coalition
for Immigrant & Worker Rights, Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee
Advocacy Coalition and Witness For Peace. Explore the social, political
and economic roots of migration and the impact this social upheaval has
on migrant families as well as those who remain at home. This will be
followed by planning support for immigrants through local immigrant
rights groups plus "birdogging 101".
