The Militant Labor forum presents a film showing:

Congo:
White King, Red Rubber, Black Death

The film describes how King Leopold II of Belgium ruled the Congo as his
private colony between 1885 and 1908. Slave labor was imposed as he carved out
an empire based on terror to harvest rubber. The Belgian government has
denounced this documentary as a "tendentious diatribe" for its
depiction of Leopold II, whose brutality was responsible for the death of what
some estimate was as many as 10 million people. But the events in the Congo spurred
an international campaign against the imperialist colonizers. Learn a part of
history that is rarely taught.
