Dear Friends,



Apologies for the extremely short notice.  Tomorrow,  Monday, July 7 at
11:30AM, there will be a gathering / rally in front of the State House to
voice the need for Green Jobs in lower-income communities and communities of
color.  Following the rally, there will be a hearing at 12PM on two pieces
of Green Jobs legislation (Senate Bill 2744, "An Act to Create Green Collar
Jobs," sponsored by Senator Benjamin Downing, and House Bill 4844, "An Act
Relevant to Green Jobs," sponsored by Speaker of the House Salvatore
DiMasi).  The hearing will be before the Joint Committee on Economic
Development and Emerging Technologies at 12PM in the Gardner Auditorium at
the State House.



Please join us and show your support!  If you can't stay for the entire
hearing, we hope you can join us for 30 minutes or so at 11:30AM in front of
the State House.  We will have signs for everyone to hold, and we hope to
make a dramatic statement that Green Jobs are urgently needed in our
communities.
