Inaugural Event of the Boston Radical Education Project
"Salt of the Earth", the movie the FBI, Congress and “La Migra” couldn’t suppress!
“Salt of the Earth” is a stirring 1950’s drama about Chicano mine workers striking
for their rights against the boss and Chicana woman demanding
the right to join in the struggle.
Produced by blacklisted Hollywood professionals,
based on an actual strike; with strike veterans playing themselves!

(Red Line Downtown Crossing; Orange Line Chinatown stations)

The Radical Education Project is a new initiative to discuss the lessons of past radical
organizing for the important issues of today and to provide a forum for debating left
analysis and approaches that can have an impact on contemporary politics.
