Arlington/Lexington United for Justice with peace

will hold an educational forum on

the current crisis in Gaza

 

Friday, January 23, 7:30 PM

Cavalry Methodist Church

E. Arlington.

 

  Unlike what the rest of the world sees, the American media reports only what the US and Israeli government want us to believe.  While brutal war crimes are waged on the defenseless people of Gaza, they distort what is really going on and more importantly, why.

   

  Speakers:

   

  Salma Abu Ayyash, a Palestinian activist and educator

  Howard Lenow, American Jews for a Just Peace

  Prof. Emerita Elaine Hagopian, noted authority on the history of conflicts in the Middle East

   

  The panel will expose the political, military, economic, and ideological reasons behind the latest crisis, discuss how Americans can end the atrocities committed in our name and rally support for the Palestinian people.
