World Social Forum Report Back, Thursday, 2/12/09 @ 6:30 p.m.

Last week, on the banks of the Amazon, in Belem do Para, Brasil, more
than a 130,000 social movement activists from all over the world
contributed to the most dramatic and inspiring of the World Social
Fora. Urged by Paraguay's new leftist president to "be impatient!" the
WSF "adopted" an expansive social change agenda that relates to the
concrete alternatives being build across Latin America today.

Join Tim Costello, Jenna Allard, Germai Medhanie, Julie Matthaei,
Thomas Ponniah, Pasqualino Colombaro, and Suren Moodliar for their
takes on the World Social Forum at this round table conversation. It
will be followed by a wine-and-cheese-style reception.
