Mission Milagro is Venezuelan-Cuban anti-blindness program that has restored
sight to close to 700,000 people from
30 countries . It aims to reach 6,000,000 blind people by 2015.

Barrio Adentro (Inside the Neighborhood) is a public health initiative that
provides preventive, primary,
secondary and specialized health care to millions of Venezuelans through a
network of community clinics located mostly in
poor urban and rural communities. It is a partnership between the Venezuelan
Ministry of Health and the Cuban Medical
Mission in Venezuela.
