The
Militant Labor Forum Presents:

No Layoffs! No Gas
Tax! No Cuts!
Working people should not pay for the economic
crisis!

Unemployment in
Massachusetts is 7.8% and the national rate is higher. When those working
part-time but who want full time work, or those who have stopped looking are
included, the total is over 455,000 workers – or 13.3% – in Massachusetts who
need full time work.

· Boston
Mayor Menino demands city unions take a wage freeze
· Governor
Patrick calls for a 19 cent tax increase on gas
· President
Obama and the U.S. Congress give billions to the banks and the investment
companies

Working people
should reject the arguments that workers should take a wage freeze to avoid
layoffs or a gas tax is necessary to fix the highway and bridges in the state. The normal
workings of the capitalist system is causing the current economic crisis and
its devastating effects on working people in this country and around the
world. Come to a discussion on the
roots of the economic crisis of the capitalist system, the fight for jobs, and the need for a
revolutionary change in society.
