*Solidarity with Palestine & Tristan Anderson*
Thursday, March 26 7:00-900
Onleyville Neighborhood Association
122 Manton Ave Ste 8
Providence, RI 02909
Come and discuss the challenges of global solidarity and local organizing
struggles.
Not long before the 6th anniversary of the death of Rachel Corrie by an
Israeli military bulldozer, Tristan Anderson, 38, was seriously injured on
Friday, March 13th by Israeli troops during protests against Israel's Wall
in the West Bank village of Ni’lin. He was shot in the head with a teargas
canister, as Israeli IDF forces attacked unarmed demonstrators protesting
against construction of the annexation wall through the village of Ni’lin.
Another resident from Ni’lin was shot in the leg with live ammunition.
We've heard a lot about this lately because Tristan is an US citizen. But
every day, Palestinian men, women and children are being maimed and killed
by IDF forces, supported by the US.
Gather with friends of Tristan and Palestine solidarity activists to discuss
the struggle and solidarity building efforts.
