The Militant Labor Forum presents:
 
US Hands Off Honduras!
 
Working people should demand the U.S. government keep its
hands off Honduras. Only the people of that Central American nation can
determine their government and their future. We must also oppose all attacks on
political rights by the Honduran ruling class and its government, including
curfews, curbs on the media, and police and army repression.
 
Washington is organizing to put together a stable regime in
Honduras that will protect its imperialist interests. That is what’s behind the
US-orchestrated talks with supporters of deposed president Manuel Zelaya and of
Roberto Micheletti, installed by the Honduran congress after the military coup
June 28.
 
Come to a discussion on:
·        Why it’s not accurate to portray the coup as a right wing
coup “made in the USA,” 
·        Why “plebisitary democracy” such as Zelaya’s proposed
referendum is not progressive
·        How can revolutionary measures in defense of the masses be
achieved and the lessons of the Cuban Revolution

   Los trabajadores debemos exigir que el
gobierno de Estados Unidos mantenga sus manos fuera de Honduras. Solo el pueblo
de esa nación centroamericana puede decidir su gobierno y su futuro. También
hay que oponerse a todos los ataques a los derechos políticos por parte de la
clase dominante hondureña y su gobierno, incluidos toques de queda,
restricciones a la prensa y represión policíaca y militar.
   Washington está tomando
medidas para formar un régimen estable en Honduras que siga protegiendo los
intereses imperialistas. De esto se tratan las conversaciones orquestadas por
el gobierno norteamericano entre los partidarios del depuesto presidente Manuel
