BREAK THE SIEGE OF GAZA
Benefit to send Boston youth on the Gaza Freedom March
New Year's Day, 2010
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 7 PM
Palestine Cultural Center for Peace, 41 Quint Avenue, Allston, MA
Speakers:
Nancy Murray -- Founder and president of the Gaza Mental Health Foundation, Inc. is on the advisory board of US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, and a member of various activist groups, including Boston Coalition for Palestinian Rights. Nancy is on the Coordinating Committee of the Gaza Freedom March.
Sarah Roche-Mahdi - Scholar, writer, longtime women's reproductive rights activist, Code Pink Cambridge organizer. Traveled to Gaza in March and Israel/Palestine in June as Code Pink delegate. On Student Outreach and International Networking committees for the Gaza Freedom March, she is just back from meetings with French leaders of Palestinian rights organizations.
Jeff Klein - Longtime union leader and peace and justice campaigner, active in Dorchester People for Peace and community/politcal organizing. Traveled annually to Palestine/Israel since 2004 and has spoken and written about the occupation and the second-class status of Palestinians living on the Israeli side of the Green Line. Jeff participated in the Viva Palestina-US Gaza Relief Convoy in July.
