What is Democratic Socialism?
An informal discussion with Democratic Socialists of America.  
All are welcome.

We've been hearing a lot about socialism, lately.  The Republicans call 
Obama a socialist, and say that the Democrats should change their name 
to the Democratic Socialist Party.  To those of us who have spent some 
time in the socialist movement, this name calling sounds surreal.  
Meanwhile, Michael Moore makes a movie about capitalism and calls for 
"democracy" as an alternative to capitalism.  We think that what Moore 
calls "democracy" is pretty much what we (and the non-communist 
socialist left for over 100 years) call "democratic socialism".
