The Mass Alliance of HUD Tenants (MAHT) is a statewide coalition of tenant groups in privately-owned, HUD subsidized housing. Founded in 1983, MAHT has saved more than 9,700 apartments as affordable housing statewide through tenant organizing, including several thousand in Boston.
