The Militant Labor Forum presents:

Washington’s Deepening War in Afghanistan
Why Working People Should Demand Troops Out Now!

Washington amplía su guerra en
Afganistán
Porqué la clase trabajadora debe exigir
 ‘¡Tropas fuera de Afganistán, Pakistán,
y de Iraq ahora!’

Come to a discussion about what is driving
Washington’s war moves.

· As
Obama announces more troops to Afghanistan there are currently more
troops in the region than during the Bush administration --65,000 U.S. troops in
Afghanistan and about 124,000 troops in Iraq. What is the real goal of the war
in Afghanistan?
· Where do relations
between Washington, India and Pakistan fit in, as Pakistan’s rulers seek more
stabilized relations with India to open the way for greater capitalist
development in Pakistan.
· Why
the deepening economic crisis with its increased competition for markets drives
Washington to use its military more and more around the world.
· How
these stepped up war moves are accompanied with increase attacks on democratic
rights, such as the jailing of civil rights lawyer, Lynne Stewart convicted in
2005 for “conspiracy to provide material aid to terrorist activity.”
