Since 2001, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost nearly $1 trillion.
The U.S. government has made $7 trillion available to bailout the big banks.
Obama’s recent budget for 2011 increases the military spending to $738
billion, while cutting HUD and other low income housing spending. With the
recession squeezing the Massachusetts state budget, and jobs scarce, working
people need new strategies to defend our standard of living.

Come to this panel discussion on the costs of war to our communities and
what we need to do to fight back.
