The Militant Labor Forum presents:
The Fight Against Police Brutality
La lucha contra brutalidad de policía
·       October 22: A 16-year-old youth was beaten by a Boston police on the 
campus of Roxbury Community College.  Students from the college held a protest 
at the Boston police headquarters October 29.  One of the cops had been 
investigated in the 2008 death of Emmanuel College student David Woodman 
following his arrest by the police.
 
·       October 17: Danroy Henry, a student at Pace University, was shot and 
killed cops in Mount Pleasant, NY.  The police say he tried to hit them with his 
car -- witnesses say a cop jumped on the hood of the car and shot Henry.  After 
the shooting police attacked witnesses who tried to aid Henry.
 
Join a discussion on the fight against brutality by the police, their role in 
capitalist society, and the need to protect our democratic rights against the 
bosses and their police.
