*1. Anti-Capitalist Art Show*

*Saturday, December 4th at the Democracy Center in Harvard Square*

*Saturday, December 4th, beginning at 12 noon, anti-capitalists will be
showing their art at 45 Mount Auburn Street (the Democracy Center) in
Harvard Square. Proceeds from donations, art sales and auction will go to
Socialist Alternative. Art from, inspired by and used by social movements
will be on display. The event will end at 4pm.*

*Child care will be available and all artists will be present to answer
questions.*

*2. Save Our Schools!*

*Tell the Boston School Committe Not to Shut Down Public Education*
**
*The unelected Boston School Committee wants to shut down public schools in
Boston. This is part of the agenda for union-busting, privatization and
re-segregation of Boston schools. Come join outraged parents, students,
teachers, staff and community members to tell the Boston School Committee
"Enough is Enough!"*
**
*The committee wants to announce plans to shut down many schools at a
meeting on December 8th, and they want to vote on this at a meeting on
December 15th. In between these events, there will be an organizers meeting
of the Coalition for Equal Quality Education. All of these events to save
our schools will be held at English High in Jamaica Plain, 144 McBride
Street.*
