please read for discussion:

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A SAINT TO BE A SOCIALIST

This short pamphlet is an excellent introduction to democratic
socialism and what it can mean for regular people in the USA today.

We will be meeting for discussion at the
Lucy Parsons Center
Sunday, December 5th
5:00PM

From the curious to the committed, all are welcome to attend!!

Our goal for the Socialist Party Study Group is to explore politics,
history, economics and the art of organizing with a particular
emphasis on (but not limited to) libertarian and revolutionary
socialist traditions.
We will survey a wide range of speeches, letters, and essays by
history-makers that can be found online. An objective of the study
group will be to foster critical thinking, not to develop a narrow
political line.

We will initially meet on a monthly basis to discuss a short reading
assignment. Everyone will be encouraged to select a reading and lead
a discussion session.

If you have any questions or need any special accommodations, please
let us know.
