Professor Martin Henn will be at the Lucy Parsons Center on Friday, March
25, 2011 to discuss his new book, *Under the Color of Law: The Bush
Administration's Subversion of U.S. Constitutional and International Law in
the War on Terror* (Lexington Books, 2010). This book provides a devastating
critique of the Bush-era legal memos formative of counterterrorism policy
from 2001 to 2009, going into paragraph-by-paragraph detail on the legal
issues involved. The book also explains why it is that certain Bush-era
officals should be indicted for conspiracy to commit torture in
contravention of standing federal law. For more about the book, please click

About the author: Dr. Martin Henn is professor of philosophy at Fitchburg
State University in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. His research interests include
the philosophy of law, classical and contemporary international law, and the
history of human rights.
