Forum on the Cuban Five

Learn about the history of political relations between Cuba and the
United States, and about why celebrities around the world, from author
Alice Walker to former President Jimmy Carter, are demanding freedom for
the Cuban 5. The Cuban 5 are five Cuban intelligence officers who have
been incarcerated in the United States since 1998 on trumped up charges
of espionage and conspiracy to commit murder. They came to the United
States to gather information on the activities of right wing groups in
Miami that had organized attacks on Cuba. A worldwide campaign is now
protesting their unjust imprisonment.
