PROTESTING TEN YEARS OF U.S. WARS AND OCCUPATIONS 
The White House defied the majority of Americans who want an end to the wars in Afghanistan and elsewhere.  This endless war is now entering its second decade, with the likelihood that the killings and the destruction could extend through 2024 and beyond.  U.S. forces are still in Iraq, drone attacks go on in Pakistan, and Libya is being bombarded while a new western occupation is planned.
 The United National Antiwar Coalition (UNAC) has called for local actions around the country on October 15, to mark the tenth anniversary of the Afghanistan war.
 As in previous Octobers, it is necessary for us to stand up and oppose these endless wars and occupations.  Boston UNAC, Boston United for Justice with Peace, Boston Stop the Wars Coalition, and the Rhode Island Mobilization Committee have endorsed the demonstration and activists in Western Massachusetts and other New England states are invited to participate in the planning for the Boston event on October 15.  (Connecticut is having its own event.)  Proposed demands:  Immediate and complete withdrawal of all U.S. occupation personnel from Afghanistan and Iraq as well as an end to the intervention and attacks on Pakistan and Libya.  Bring Our War $$ Home.
