Participate in an anti-war demo at 5 p.m. Friday--marking the 10th
anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. The gathering point is in
Dewey Square by the statue of Gandhi.    (Dewey Square is the portion of the
Greenway directly across from South Station - see map

Bring a sign and come to help make our statement part of this incredible and
growing grassroots movement. It would be great if some Smedleys could bring
our VFP flags. I know that many will be in DC as part of the Liberty Square
action marking the anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, so let's
make this our Boston version.

Cambridge UJP met at Occupy Boston yesterday and called a Frieday
commemoration of the anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.  The
UJP Planning group supports this action!

Jim Wallace writes, "I participated in the General Assembly tonight of
Occupy Boston at Dewey Square--powerful collection of determined people,
mainly young, and respectfully building a movement challenging so much of
what is wrong with our system and insisting on having a voice. You will be
impressed and encouraged to see this in action."
