Listen, Learn, Speak Out, Take Action!

Thursday, October 20, 2011

Please join Bill McKibben and Tar Sands Action in Boston this Thursday,
October 20th at 5:15pm for a climate teach-in with Occupy Boston. Then
travel with allies via the T to Harvard Square where we'll rally some more
and hear from Wendell Berry as he receives the Howard Zinn "People Speak"
Award for his work as a poet to defend people and the planet!

The Occupy movement is focusing powerful and constructive energy in favor of
justice for people and planet and in opposition to corporate greed and
corruption. The Tar Sands campaign to stop the Keystone XL pipeline offers
us an opportunity to score a tangible win against fossil fuel profiteers!
So, bring your signs, your props, your friends, and your own shining faces!
See you Thursday at Dewey Square!
