THE COMMUNITY CHURCH OF BOSTON
SUNDAY SPEAKERS FORUM presents...

Sunday, December 4th, 2011
11:00am

The 35th Annual Sacco & Vanzetti Social Justice Award Ceremony
JOIN US TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE AND WORK OF ARNIE KING!

It is with joy and excitement that the Community Church of Boston honors
Arnie King with the 35th Annual Sacco & Vanzetti Social Social Justice
Award. We will gather to celebrate this man's commitment to justice through
humble connection with so many in our extended community. Arnie reminds all
of us that we need not be defined by one moment of our lives; we are all a
collection of moments, consistently challenged to follow a path of
righteousness and love.

Speakers will include Seth Kirshenbaum (co-executive director of The City
School), Banjineh Brown (Boston public school teacher), Robin Casarjian
(author of Houses of Healing, director of the Lionheart Foundation), Bob
David (managing director of And Still We Rise Productions), Rasheem Benson
(friend of Arnie's), Dianne Zimbabwe (coordinator of Through Barbed Wire),
members of Arnie's family, and Arnie King, calling live from Bay State
Prison. Musical performances by Destroy Babylon & Myriam Ortiz.
