OCCUPY MOVEMENT MEETS IN NEWTON

The First Unitarian Society of Newton will host a General Assembly of
the Occupy Newton and Occupy the Suburbs groups on Sunday, January
22nd, from 3 - 5 PM. The open public meeting will take place in the
Parish Hall at 1325 Washington Street, West Newton.

The meeting will demonstrate the format of the Occupy Boston General
Assembly with time for discussion of proposals related to social
justice, government and corporate accountability, and inequality of
income and distribution of wealth in this country.

Members of Occupy Newton and Occupy the Suburbs will talk about their
activities in the past two months; these have included meetings and
vigils at Bank of America in several locations.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the growing Occupy Movement
and to share ideas for actions, educational activities, visibility and
joining forces.
