Calling on activists to form Affinity Groups (AGs) and take non-
violent direct action to permanently close the Vermont Yankee (VY)
nuclear power plant. Non-violence trainers are available to prepare
for civil disobedience.
If you are in a new or existing AG or would like to join one, or want
to arrange a non-violence training, please contact David Detmold, SAGE
Alliance AG coordinator: reporter at montaguema.net.
The Safe and Green Energy Alliance (SAGE Alliance), is a coalition of
anti-nuclear organizations in New England and nation-wide opposed to
the Vermont Yankee nuclear reactor.
Affinity Groups are encouraged to send a spoke to the SAGE
Coordinating Committee meetings. The next one is Sunday, Feb. 5, in
Springfield, VT, location to be determined. Contact tom at clamshellalliance.org
or see Upcoming Events on the homepage of www.sagealliance.net for
location and on-going action information.
