In an effort to not only memorialize the people lost on the March 2007 
bombing of Al-
Mutanabbi Street, Baghdad's bookselling and literary center, but restore 
the "memory and
future" of ideas of books, Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here will gather 
Boston area writers,
booksellers, book artists, printers, and poets for a celebration in 
honor of Iraq's storied Al-
Mutanabbi Street bookstores.

Join Back Pages Books in support of the Al-Mutanabbi Street Project, a 
forthcoming
collaboration of book artists worldwide in celebration of Baghdad's 
once-vibrant intellectual-
hub.
