Purchase Tickets in Advance for Discounted Price! [1]

Saturday, March 17, 2012, 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm
St John's United Methodist Church, 80 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown

Beena Sarwar [2], journalist, human rights and peace activist, filmmaker

Ethan Casey [3], international journalist, visitor and frequent resident of
Pakistan

As the U.S. prepares to wind down its occupation of Afghanistan, the U.S.
relationship with Pakistan is moving central to the agenda.  But how much do
U.S. peace activists really know about Pakistan, its problems and the long
history of U.S. interference there?

This premier event will bring about the meeting of the Pakistani-American
community and U.S. peace-minded activists to discuss realistic, peaceful
solutions to the challenges facing the people of the U.S. & Pakistan. We will
correct official and unofficial misinformation. International activists will
humanize the situation and work harder to publicly reveal the truth and make our
elected officials responsible for their policies!

Punjabi dinner will be catered by Punjabi Grill of Framingham.  Because we are
serving a hot dinner we need a good estimate of attendance... therefore, please
order tickets in advance or notify Peace Action that you are planning to attend.
Early bird admission price $15 before March 15 - at the door $25 - low
income/student $10. Order tickets using "Pay Now" button below.

Ethan Casey will be signing copies of his new book, Overtaken by Events.
