Fight to Demand Charges Against Killer of Trayvon Martin 
 
Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year
old Black youth, was killed by on Feb. 26 by a George Zimmerman, a neighborhood
watch volunteer. The cops in Sanford, Florida refused to press charges against
Zimmerman who claimed “self-defense.” Join a discussion on this case and the
fight against racism today.
·        The history of racist incidents by the cops in Sanford,
Florida
·        The fight for equal justice under the law and the routine
violations of these rights
·        The role of the cops and the courts in the disproportionate
jailing of Blacks
·        Why we have mass incarceration, and a lack of justice in
cases like Martin’s, while at the same time the greater “diversity” often
pointed to as progress by politicians and others.
