WHY CAN'T JOHNNY SAVE THE WORLD? tHE POLITICS OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Corey Dolgon, PhD., Associate Professor and Director of the Office of Community - Based Learning at Stonehill College.
This talk will introduce the audience to the current movement toward civic engagement in higher education, the debates about aspects such as service learning and community-based research, and what it all means for the purpose and success of higher education inthe United States.
