After TecsChange's kick-off, enjoying a pupusa at the Festival
Salvadoreño-Americano, take a stroll back down Meridian St. to ZUMIX
(just a couple blocks from Maverick Square) to partake in some empanadas
and a great Colombian animated documentary for Colombia Vive's summer
fundraiser.

Born Under Fire is a film narrated by displaced children between the
ages of 8 and 13 who were brought up in a world of violence and chaos in
Colombia. The film won the prestigious India Catalina award for best
documentary in last year's Cartagena International Film Festival. *Find

See below for information and a video clip about the First Annual
Festival Salvadoreño-Americano en Nueva Inglaterra in East Boston on
this Saturday Aug 4th.
This event will be taking place this Saturday right outside TecsChange's
new office. We will be there from 1 to 6 at an absolute minimum but
come help us for an hour our two so we can stay open longer.
We just finished shipping out 40 computers to 3 hospitals in El
Salvador, We will be getting the information out about this. See our

This will serve as a kick off event for our new office 46 Bennington
St. in the basement Come to the festival and drop in to see
TecsChanges new office.

On Saturday, August 4^th , the Salvadorian community in New England will
be making history as they celebrate their First Annual *Festival
Salvadoreño-Americano en Nueva Inglaterra*. This is a free event and
thousands are expected to gather, to celebrate El Salvador's traditions
and culture! On this edition of "Centro", WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo
