Indigenous Colombian Leader Ligna Pulido to New England.

Sra. Pulido addresses U.S. policy in Colombia, particularly the
Colombian Consolidation Plan, and the effects of these policies on
indigenous communities and, most especially, on women. This dynamic,
knowledgeable speaker illuminates the connections between
militarization, trade agreements, indigenous rights, women's rights,
land rights, and environmental protection.
