As this year's election season enters the home stretch, the campaign
rhetoric and TV ads occasionally clarify the underlying issues, but often
don't. So how will the results effect the ongoing efforts for social justice
waged by supporters of unions, improved health care, women's rights and a
democratic foreign policy---among others? Does it make any difference who we
send to Washington or the Massachusetts State House? Our speakers have long
experience in relating progressive issues to electoral politics.
