[act-ma] Occupy STRIKE DEBT Nov. 19

OCCUPY *COMMUNITY GATHERING: 6-9:30 P.M. Mon. Nov. 19 at Community Church
of Boston* (565 Boylston St., Boston--COPLEY T) All Are Welcome.

The idea for the CG comes from the great work that the Strike Debt group of
OWS has been doing both educating and organizing around the many different
kinds and issues about debt. Some of us who went to S17 were able to attend
a really exciting and huge gathering about debt that happened there and/or
follow-up discussions with Strike Debt that went on during the week. This
is a very exciting new direction for our movement, and the OWS people have
given us a lot to get going with.  If you haven't checked out what they are

We are hoping our community gathering will draw a large group, both OB
people and other activists, to think about how we can build powerful
organizing projects around debt here in Boston.

If you have ideas about what the CG should do, please come to the planning
meeting.  If you are at all interested in hearing from and talking to other
activists about debt and debt organizing, please plan to come to the
CG. More on the details of the CG after the planning meeting.  Meanwhile,
please save the date, and get the word out as widely as you can about both
events.
