FSU-Radio Programming Upcoming...

Every Wednesday 7:00 pm on OB RADIO ( <http://obr.fm/> http://obr.fm)

Wed 3/21 REBROADCAST

ANARCHISM, DEMOCRACY AND #OCCUPY

with Dennis Fox

Set your Internet Browser to OBR.FM.

Dennis Fox is an anarchist and social psychologist who has been involved
with Occupy Boston since the beginning. Back in the fall, he taught a number
of courses for FSU on the intersections of anarchism, psychology, and law,
topics he began exploring in the 1970s while participating in the Boston
Clamshell Alliance and Coalition for Direct Action at Seabrook. On
Wednesday, February 1, we had a conversation on anarchism and democracy, and
the lessons that are being learned from the #Occupy movement. Here is your
second chance to catch it.

This show originally broadcast on February 1, 2012, but many listeners were
unable to hear parts of it due to technical problems with our Internet
carrier.

The Racial Divide & Building Unity in the 99%

with Emmett Schaefer

Emmett Schaefer is a senior lecturer in sociology at U. Mass Boston. His
classes all center around race, gender and social class. He will talk about
the racial divide in this supposedly post-racial country of ours, and the
need, in building unity among the 99%, to address issues that if not
acknowledged could divide us, such as structural or institutionalized
racism. We, the 99% really do have much in common, and our common purpose
can only be strengthened by attention to structural inequalities among us.
