Coalition of Immokalee Workers

Preparations are underway for a
HUGE Chipotle National Day of Action:
Wed., July 25th!

Food with Integrity? Tell Chipotle to make a commitment to farmworkers'
rights
by holding an event at your local
Chipotle Mexican Grill location!

On July 25th, conscientious consumers from New York to Oakland and more
than twenty cities in between are calling on Chipotle to respect the rights
of farmworkers who pick the tomatoes that go into Chipotle burritos by
demanding that Chipotle commit to a Fair Food Agreement.

Join Fair Food activists across the county for the National Chipotle Day of
Action by participating in one of the actions already taking place or
organizing an event of your own.

Visit the CIW site today for a list of the cities planning to hold actions
this coming week. Check back soon for updates, as the list is growing daily!

It's time for Chipotle to join ten other major corporations already doing
the right thing. Chipotle has built its more than 1250 stores and nearly $3
billion revenue on an image of serving “Food with Integrity.” Yet, their
refusal to join the Fair Food Program threatens to undermine the historic
progress being made toward ensuring justice for farmworkers.

If you want to find an action near you or hold your own event on or around
July 25th, contact the fine folks at Just Harvest USA, at
info at justharvestusa.org .

Can't make it to one of the actions happening around the country? You can
always take a manager letter into your local store! It's easy, and a great
way to make your voice heard in the national call for food justice at
Chipotle.

Stay tuned for more news and action from the Campaign for Fair Food!
