The Ethical Society of Boston will be presenting a program March 3 at 10:30 AM in Belmont
Veterans For Peace
Veteran Pat Scanlon discusses the challenges faced by veterans in their efforts to oppose war and advocate for peace, especially in the South Boston St. Patrick's Day parade Veterans For Peace is a natioanl organization founded in 1985 by military veterans opposed to the Reagan administration's war against the people of Central America. It includes men and women veterans of all eras and duty stations spanning the Spanish Civil war, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Panama, Persian Gulf, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, other conflicts and periods in between.
Program will take place at 395 Concord Ave., Belmont (next to the Belmont Post office) at 10:30 AM. Public is Welcome Program is Free. Music, Coffee/Snacks and Discussion to follow Presentation. For further information call 617-739-9050 or visit BostonEthical.Org
