Full-Time Position Available:
Operations Director
National Network of Abortion Funds
The National Network of Abortion Funds (the Network) is dedicated to
eliminating economic barriers to abortion for low-income women and girls
across the U.S. Founded in 1993 by 24 grassroots abortion Funds, the Network
now includes 100 Funds in 42 states. We work to build the capacity of our
member Funds to provide direct financial assistance to women seeking
abortions. We also conduct advocacy to ensure access for those facing the
greatest obstacles: low-income women, women of color, and young women. This
is an exciting time for the Network as we nurture new Funds emerging in
underserved areas and help to lead a national coalition to increase abortion
access.
The Network is a social justice organization and is committed to leadership
and representation of the women most affected by the denial of access to
abortion in both our programmatic work and staffing.
The Operations Director is a new, senior-level position responsible for
administration, finance, human resources, and oversight of the fundraising
team and strategy implementation. The Operations Director is a critical

. Responsible for ensuring the Network has and is effectively
implementing an overall fundraising strategy. (This strategy is created by
our Development Officers for individual giving and foundation support, with
appropriate input from the E.D., Deputy Director, and board.)
