Cooperative basics. Expect an
interactive, info-packed session. "The Boston Center for Community
Ownership was founded in 2012, the International Year of Cooperatives, to
support grassroots efforts to start cooperative businesses. Worker-Owned,
Consumer-Owned, and hybrid cooperatives have the potential to: provide
needed services to underserved communities; create a legitimate means to
make a living for those with barriers to employment; and bring democracy
into the workplace."
$3-$10 sliding scale suggested
Snacks and beverages will be provided

interested in a starting worker coop(s) are hosting this event. Anyone
who's trans or respectful of trans folks is more than welcome to attend!
