El ataque contra los derechos democráticos y la lucha de la
clase obrera para defenderse
·        It has been revealed
that the National Security Agency and private security firms have been
gathering data on all Internet and cell phone activity.
·        The US Supreme Court ruled that a DNA sample could be taken from people
under arrest  -- challenging the fourth
amendment and the prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures.
·        The targeting of the Tea Party and other conservative groups by the
Internal Revenue Service for extra scrutiny and delays.
·        These moves against democratic rights are occurring at the same time the
economic crisis continues, with attacks by the bosses and their government on
our standard of living and conditions of work.
·        A victory for all working people -- the Socialist Workers Party won a
ruling from the Federal Elections Commission that their election campaigns do
not have to report the names of contributors to the FEC.
·        Why spy programs by the
bosses and their government are aimed at the working class as a whole.
Come to a
discussion on the importance of defending workers’ rights.
